Why We Built This Site
Alabama gives the public broad access to many public records, but Elmore County records are split by office and record type. The Circuit Clerk is the court-record keeper for Circuit Court and District Court. The Probate Office handles probate, recording, and marriage certificate records. The Sheriff manages jail custody information, release lists, most-wanted information, and public-safety records. State systems such as Alacourt, Alapay, ADPH, ALEA, and PACER add more paths for records that are not held only at a local counter.

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
